Bringing Shakespeare to life: Event marketing

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust launched a new range of events at Mary Arden’s Farm aimed at families. Design Penguin was tasked with creating eye-catching marketing materials to help advertise the themed days and weekends.

With Design Penguin’s 6 years of experience of working with Shakespeare’s Birthplace Trust, it was fun to take the images (Halloween photoshoot on a bright summer’s day for example) and make them feel more seasonal. We created logos and imagery to match the season or event theme which were used across a range of banners, posters and leaflets.

Following the success of the family events, a candlelit tour was introduced for Shakespeare’s Birthplace for Christmas, aimed at adults, and again Design Penguin created festive imagery for a range of marketing materials.
