Nottingham Playhouse is a regional theatre and Design Penguin creates insight packs (show guides) for their amazing in-house productions.
Each Insight pack includes information about the cast and crew, production and theme background that adds context to the play. This might be character development or historical events from the time the story is set. We create a style for each pack that reflects the theme of the show to ensure they have an individual look and feel.

Part of our work involves creating designs for shows. We explore the themes of the plays and are guided by the directors plan for the production, which for these two they were a modern take on traditional stories.
